Scouts in Cooma
Cooma Scouts is proudly based in North Cooma, alongside the beautiful bushland of the North Ridge Walk. At 📍 12 Babin Place, North Cooma NSW 2630
Our group is led by Group Leader Trish Worth, supported by trainee leader Cassie Bradbury and a dedicated team of adult helpers who contribute across a variety of roles, including leadership and committee support.
Scouts Australia is a youth development organisation led by dedicated, trained adult volunteers. We support young people aged 5 to 25 to grow, learn, and thrive through fun, adventure, and challenge.
At Scouts, we get outdoors, build resilience, develop teamwork, and most importantly — have fun!
Our program is divided into age-based sections:
- Joey Scouts: 5–8 years
- Cub Scouts: 8–11 years
- Scouts: 11–14 years
- Venturer Scouts: 14–17 years
- Rover Scouts: 18–25 years
Scouts is a modern, youth-focused program that encourages young people to develop at their own pace. Youth members take an active role by leading, assisting, and participating in a wide range of activities and adventures designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire personal growth.
Due to a limited number of trained leaders at present, some sections are currently combined. We warmly welcome anyone interested in helping across any section — your support makes a big difference.
Meeting Times:
- Joeys & Cubs (Ages 5–11): Tuesdays, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
- Scouts & Venturers (Ages 11–17): Mondays, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
